Friendship

<sub>Laerya, charmed by the Kyrii's attitude, pulled her into a warm hug. Jinny squeaked before she returned it awkwardly. "You've got to believe you're a cool person like Akorri says," the Cybunny murmured. "So will you take him up on his offer?"

The white Kyrii paused to consider it. She brushed the hair from her face, revealing both of her brown eyes, as she replied, "Yes. I'd like to go travelling with you."

Laerya bounced up with joy, hugging Jinny again and this time dragging Akorri into the hug as well. "Yay!" she cheered. "This is going to be great. We're going to have a lot of fun together!"</sub>

These three characters - Laerya, Akorri and Jinny - are so fun to write about. They have such a great friendship, and I've enjoyed developing it in my NT series. The three stories so far (Cloud Flute, Greenglade, Ruined Library) have done their job of setting up relationships with the plot as a backdrop. I've always been more fond of developing characters than plot, and it's probably quite evident.
In the future, I'm planning to write more about these three, but there may be a shift in genre and style. The other stories were from Lae's POV, after all, and that may change as she's not the main main character any more.

But anyway, I thought the three of them deserved a picture together. It... looked a lot better in my head, to be honest, I didn't do any of them justice, especially Jinny (for those who don't know, she's the white one). Ah well.
